Lucy KH Kalian

As a little girl, I spent much of my free time in the woods behind our house. I had a favorite, fallen tree, in whose trunk I stashed a notebook and a couple of pencils. I would sit on its large limbs, writing stories and drawing, before heading off to the more physical realities of the day’s adventure.

Not much has changed. My days begin much earlier and the paintings tell stories.
